Where two homes formerly stood in northeast Atlanta, 18 have risen—and started coming to market. 

The 18-unit Frederick Walk project was “woven into the verdant landscape of North Druid Hills” to offer distinctly modern townhome options where neighborhoods Woodland Hills and LaVista Park meet, as developers Urban Eco Group and Inhance Development have put it. 

The 1501 LaVista Road site is just west of Briarcliff Road, near a Tesla dealership, Che Butter Jonez restaurant, and other businesses. Frederick Walk replaced two former houses on large lots that had been converted to accounting and law firms and other business uses.

Compass has released the first three floorplans for sale this week, with prices ranging from $609,900 up to $624,900 for an end unit.

All townhomes released to date have three bedrooms and four bathrooms in just shy of 1,700 square feet, with one-car garages, as designed by the Wright Gardner Architect firm. (Prices will eventually climb up to $734,900 for larger end-unit options with nearly 2,000 square feet that have yet to list, per Compass.) Another consideration: HOA fees listed at $348 per month. 

On the top level of each townhome are rooftop terraces—par for the course in Atlanta, with most upscale townhome projects. But the unique floorplan component is found at the base levels, where townhomes include guest suites that come standard with private entrances (plus optional second kitchens). 

These flex spaces are meant for “hosting family over holidays, an au pair residence, or rental income opportunity,” per Compass marketing materials.

Frederick Walk homes have been EarthCraft Green-certified, and perks of the location beyond nearby commercial nodes include “unparalleled access” to Emory University and Morningside Nature Preserve, per listings. 

Inhance Development specializes in infill development in metro Atlanta, while Urban Eco Group’s recent work includes the new Leon on Ponce condos, a modern mid-rise building near Ponce City Market.
