Here’s proof that new-construction, non-condo homes with Atlanta addresses in the $200,000s aren’t totally extinct.
A new townhome build called Woodbury Park is joining a growing portfolio of new residential developments by D.R. Horton—the largest U.S. homebuilder by volume for more than 20 years running—around metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
Located southwest of downtown Atlanta at 5946 Skylar Drive, Woodbury Park’s first townhomes have started coming to market in recent weeks, currently priced between $269,900 and $281,900.

The site, surrounded by piney forests, is about seven miles beyond the Interstate 285 Perimeter, west of Greenbriar Mall. So no, it’s not exactly intown. But these aren’t intown prices anymore, either.
Floorplans currently listed with D.R. Horton Realty of Georgia include three bedrooms and two and ½ bathrooms in just over 1,500 square feet. Each townhome also has a one-car garage.
In-home perks include a back patio, granite countertops, and all three bedrooms (including a primary suite with dual vanities) situated upstairs, according to listings.
Marketers point to the nearby Campbellton Creek Nature Park and Fulton County schools—Westlake High, Sandtown Middle, Stonewall Tell Elementary—as highlights of the OTP location. (We’ll add that Six Flags Over Georgia and Sweetwater Creek State Park are just north of here.)
