Ponce City Market’s eye-catching new watering hole and barbecue pitstop along the Eastside Trail officially opens Saturday, but here’s a sneak peek of what to expect.
Local brewery, distillery, and restaurant concept Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal features a front-row seat to the Atlanta Beltline and the first food-and-beverage tenant for a large retail space completed more than a decade ago.
The concept from Three Taverns Craft Brewery, with a full kitchen from Atlanta-based DAS BBQ (don’t skip the smoked wings), has claimed retail space at the base of the 21-story Signal House apartment tower, which marked Ponce City Market’s first new-construction, standalone building when it opened two years ago.
Three Taverns, founded in 2013, operates two other ITP locations: The original brewery in Decatur and another space just off the Beltline, The Imaginarium in Reynoldstown, which opened in 2020. On tap in Old Fourth Ward are classic lagers, multiple IPA styles, sours, and stouts.
We gave the new space a tasty test-run during a media preview this week. Without further ado, have a look at how the project came together in the gallery above.
