Up the road from Atlanta Memorial Park in Buckhead, on a vacant creek-side lot, a striking modern home that aims to embrace the hallmarks of California contemporary architecture has been fully permitted and is “ready to break ground immediately,” as new listings stress.

It’s described as an artful melding of roomy interiors and refined outdoor spaces with tropical landscaping on a grand scale—with a grandiose listing price of $3,295,000 to match.

And it just might include the largest infinity-edge waterfall—a cascade of 19 feet—this side of Tyler Perry’s former estate.

Abutting Peachtree Battle Avenue, the setting is 1 and ½ woodsy acres backing up to Peachtree Creek. It’s a few lots east of Interstate 75, which the avenue bridges but doesn’t access.

On the bright side, accessing Buckhead’s section of the BeltLine via the aforementioned park would be a breeze.

The concept is by Atlanta-based Jeffrey Bruce Baker Designs, whose residential portfolio features large-scale moderns and a range of other styles, including Arts & Crafts cottage and French Provincial.

Ansley Real Estate describes the plans as having a form-meets-function “incomparable design and craftsmanship level” that equates to “a new standard in luxury living.”

The sheer numbers: 5,700 square feet, five bedrooms, six and ½ bathrooms, and one elevator to all three levels.

Beyond the 50-foot Gunite pool’s version of Niagara, highlights are set to include top-flight home automation and security, BSPK cabinetry throughout, and one massive floor-to-ceiling window after the next.

But the showstopper might be the amenity level, with its silvered-ash wood decking and bluestone, an outdoor cabana bath, and recessed seating in the pool for cooling off and beholding it all.
