An army of flattering adjectives—“bespoke,” “unexpected,” “unparalleled,” and “understated” among them—is being rolled out to describe a unique subdivision project taking shape in Buckhead between Interstate 85 and Lenox Square.
What could be mistaken for townhomes at first blush, the Brixton Buckhead project is in fact five standalone houses that have risen this year along a hilly, windy stretch of Lenox Road, replacing an old home buried in the woods.
According to marketing materials, the Brixton Buckhead grounds remain verdant and tranquil (despite rip-roaring Lenox Road down below), while the exteriors are described as timeless.
As listed with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, each of the enclave’s five residences is priced at $1,695,000. That buys four bedrooms and four and ½ bathrooms in 3,721 square feet.
According to the project’s website, two of the homes are currently under contract.
Proximity to multiple MARTA stations and “world-class” retail, dining, and arts and entertainment, in addition to top-flight schools, highways, and greenways—it’s all pitched as the upside of living in this part of Buckhead.
Each home comes with an array of outdoor terraces and what are essentially beefed-up bay windows. Throughout the interiors are white-oak flooring, Silestone countertops, LED lighting, and upscale, minimal fixtures by BLANCO and Crosswater London.
An added bonus is that garages are prewired for EV chargers. But for buyers who want elevators for navigating these three-story domiciles with minimal effort, that’ll be $42,000 extra.
Fulton County tax records indicate the .8-acre property sold last year for $1.5 million. According to listings, Brixton Buckhead is expected to finish construction by either the end of this year or early 2023.
