A development site has recently hit the market along a Westside corridor where a major jobs hub and hundreds of new homes have come to fruition in recent years.
The 540 Northside Drive NW listing is an assemblage of 10 lots totaling about .92 acres in English Avenue. It's directly across the street from the completed phase-one expansion of Science Square, which includes Georgia Tech’s 13-story Science Square Labs tower, where companies such as Duracell have claimed space.
The land deal came to market with King Industrial Realty earlier this month, asking $3 million.
One selling point, according to brokers, is 188 feet of frontage along Northside Drive that could be activated with high-visibility retail or other uses.

The property is just south of the Modera Westside Trail complex, where developer Mill Creek Residential delivered nearly 400 new apartments last year. (City Auto Body Shop has long operated on one corner of the properties in question.)
Other new residential builds in surrounding blocks include The Grace Residences at Science Square (280 apartments) and the newly opened Herndon Square phase two (201 units).
According to King Industrial Realty, the site’s zoning would allow for a high-density, village-like mix of uses along Northside Drive. Being a Federal Opportunity Zone location, it’s eligible for “significant” tax incentives, per the firm.
Additional perks of the location include proximity to Georgia World Congress Center (.6 miles) and Mercedes-Benz Stadium (.9 miles), per sellers. The Westside Beltline Connector, a multi-use pathway between downtown and the mainline loop, is about a block to the west.
So, ATL… any big ideas?
