A longtime Atlanta chef and James Beard award-winner is cooking up a restaurant revival in the commercial heart of Buckhead.
Branded as Linton’s and The Buttery, the 2964 Peachtree Road NW concept is being put together by Hopkins and Company, an Atlanta hospitality group helmed since 2004 by chef Linton Hopkins and his wife and business partner Gina Hopkins.
According to a Special Administrative Permit filing, the ASD/SKY-designed proposal would refresh and modify a vacant restaurant space last occupied by The Original Pancake House, which closed three years ago. Prior to that, Italian chain Brio had operated in the space for nearly two decades, as part of the Buckhead Center office complex.
Features of the building include two fireplaces and a large patio fronting Peachtree Road, just south of Buckhead Village.

Hopkins and Company is scheduled to present its plans Wednesday to the Buckhead SPI-12 Development Review Committee. Renderings show a traditional design in store for the building with painted stucco, numerous fabric awnings, and a wooden pergola in front.
The 2.3-acre property and surrounding garages count 350 available parking spaces, with no changes planned, per filings.
The Hopkins’ other restaurants around Atlanta include Holeman & Finch Public House, H&F Burger, C. Ellet’s Steakhouse, Holeman & Finch Bottle Shop, and Hop's Chicken.

Renderings show part of the building branded as The Buttery, which echoes the name of the bakery and café the Hopkins team closed two years ago on Manchester Street in Morningside-Lenox Park.
