A seasoned Atlanta homebuilder known for creating Westside communities from scratch is setting its sights on the southeast side of town.
Brock Built Homes is developing a 60-unit townhome venture called The Parc in DeKalb County near Gresham Park, a little less than two miles south of East Atlanta Village.
Located off Bouldercrest Road, the vacant corner site in question—save for a long-shuttered former church—borders 28-acre Glen Emerald Park, which marketing materials describe as “a magical escape right in the middle of Atlanta.”
The park features a half-mile trail around the bird-magnet lake, plus playgrounds, tennis courts, and athletic fields.
Townhome options at The Parc will stand either two or three stories, all with three bedrooms and garages. Prices start in the high $300,000s, according to Brock Built.
Three different floorplans—Adeline, Manchester, and Lancaster—range between 1,400 and 1,900 square feet. So semi-detached McMansions these are not.
Designs are variously described as “the modern farmhouse style meets modern townhome,” “rustic-urban,” and “Modern Prairie.”
“A relative to the modern farmhouse style,” reads The Parc’s pitch, “the contemporary Prairie trend replaces the farmhouse’s industrial elements with primitive ones.”
We’ve asked The Parc reps for updates on where construction stands and pricing details on all forthcoming homes. We’ll update this story with any additional info that comes.
Elsewhere in Atlanta, Brock Built made waves last year with a townhome project in traditionally underserved Bankhead, Ten29 West, with prices topping out near a record $700,000.
The homebuilder’s other ongoing or forthcoming projects span the metro, from Stone Mountain and Alpharetta to a new 52-townhome venture in Riverside.
At last check, Brock Built’s West Town community was also nearly finished in Blandtown.
