Maybe they aren’t palatial new homes overlooking Piedmont Park or the Eastside Trail, but a metro rental conversion project is offering walkability and fresh renovations with price points that might not obliterate bank accounts, especially for first-time buyers.
The catch, or highlight, depending on personal preference: These places are way OTP.
The Nest at Woodstock project (formerly Woodstock Station) marks a rare case of a rental townhome community switching to for-sale dwellings. Its 40 units are located about a block east of the Cherokee County city’s growing downtown district, roughly 30 miles north of Midtown Atlanta.
According to listing agent Deborah Morton of The Agency Atlanta real estate firm, the conversion process to two-story, for-sale townhomes continues, and sellers are “working to turn the current residents into homeowners.” None have closed yet.
But other units—such as 133 Bentley Parkway, Unit C—are hitting the open market, with townhome prices rarely seen in Atlanta these days, especially for three-bedroom options.

Following a $25,000 price slice this week, the decorated model townhome in question is listed at $335,000, with $10,000 in seller-paid incentives also being dangled. (The area’s median price for homes is currently about $516,000, per The Agency.)
That price at The Nest buys three bedrooms and two and 1/2 bathrooms in 1,273 square feet, with perks that include granite countertops, an updated kitchen, new light fixtures and carpeting, fresh paint, and other features, per sellers.
The “safe, unbeatable location” is across the street from Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater, with Woodstock’s Main Street and forested Greenprints Trail System to the west.
“The listing reflects a growing segment of the Woodstock market,” a project rep writes to Urbanize Atlanta, “[who are] first-time buyers and right-sizers seeking lower-maintenance ownership near a walkable downtown without paying typical downtown prices.”
Sound like a solid deal, all things considered? Swing up to the gallery for more context and visuals.
