A unique residential project is coming to market that’s aiming to capitalize on the North Georgia Mountains’ allure for luxury buyers from metro Atlanta to Florida and beyond.
The North Creek project—billed as a “modern micro-community in the Blue Ridge Mountains”—includes seven planned A-frame houses on a wooded site, located about 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, or roughly 95 miles north of Atlanta.
All three North Creek listings to date are priced at $1.52 million, for lots ranging between 1.6 and 2.7 acres, as recently listed with Compass.
The seven tucked-away home sites are situated along the North Creek waterway and Ga. Highway 60, a scenic link between Blue Ridge and downtown Dahlonega. The gated community’s goal is to create treehouse vibes with modern amenities, and to opt “for larger lots instead of closer neighbors” with properties that are friendly to short-term rentals, according to a promotional website.
Planned amenities call for a common area with staffed community gardens, plus a working farm with goat houses and chicken coops.

Project officials have told Urbanize Atlanta all seven homes will span roughly 3,000 square feet, offering between three and five bedrooms, with walls of glass, specialized siding, and metal roofing designed to cut down on maintenance and boost forest and creek views.
When announced last year by Engel & Völkers North Georgia Mountains, plans called for North Creek prices to start around $1.3 million.
Extras such as garages, hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, pools, and other packages are considered add-ons, sales officials said at the time.

In recent years, the North Georgia Mountains have emerged as one of the hottest destinations for second-home and investment properties in the Southeast, having notched more than 25 sales north of $3 million in the year leading up to September, per Engel & Völkers.
Compass reps send word that all roads into North Creek will be paved, and the entrance is currently under construction.
