Due west of Midtown and south Buckhead, the historic Riverside neighborhood has seen a surge of relatively dense new development in recent years—with a steady stream of buyers to match, in most cases.
The latest Riverside project to near sold-out status is called 1871 Hollywood (for its street, not a Tinseltown nod) by Pulte Homes, one of the country’s largest homebuilders.
The 52-townhome venture broke ground in 2023, claiming a former landscaping supply property. According to recent listings, just three homes remain available today, and the community is expected to wrap construction between September and November this year.
The Hollywood Road site is just north of Fulton County’s Northwest Library at Scotts Crossing, about five miles west of Atlantic Station.

The project brings an “urban vibe” to the “trendy Upper Westside area of Atlanta” and has been selling to “everyone from young professionals to growing families,” per listings.
Remaining townhome options at 1871 Hollywood start at $492,983 for a three-bedroom, three and ½ bathroom unit in 1,874 square feet.
Following a discount of more than $35,000, the priciest current offering (an end unit with just shy of 2,200 square feet) is asking $583,450, also for three bedrooms and three and ½ bathrooms.
Both options have one-car garages and $350 per month HOA requirements, per listings.
Perks of the townhomes include quartz countertops and spa-like primary bathrooms, plus walkability to parks and businesses such as Bellwood Coffee.
Beyond the units, the project includes an onsite dog park, a community green, a fire pit, and a pocket park.
