A national developer with an extensive portfolio of high-rise holdings has begun that rarest of Atlanta construction projects: the conversion of a full apartment building to for-sale condominiums.
Billed as “Buckhead’s iconic condo transformation,” the 2460 Peachtree Road project by Crescent Heights has recently kicked off construction, according to the Ansley Real Estate/Christie's International Real Estate sales team.
The property in question has operated for years as The 2460 Peachtree Apartments.
The 17-story building’s new name will be “Panorama Buckhead”—a nod to skyline and treetop views in all directions from a property situated between Midtown and Buckhead Village.

One unique feature of the condo repositioning will be “breakthrough pricing” that starts in the $300,000s per unit in an effort to remain attainable, relatively speaking, according to marketing materials. (Across the street, for context, condos at the newly built The Dillon Buckhead started in the $800,000s when construction began three years ago.)
Plans at Panorama Buckhead call for one and two-bedroom options with updated flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and ceilings, with new glass-wrapped balconies in some condos.
Amenity upgrades around the building will include a new entry and lobby, new gym equipment, a sauna, steam rooms, a dog park and grooming spa, in addition to an updated pool and pool deck area.
The first listing to go live asks $381,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in 1,100 square feet.
We’ve asked sales reps for information on how many condos will be offered overall, and when they’re projected to start delivering, and we’ll update this story with any additional information that comes. [UPDATE: 6 p.m., Sept. 8: Project officials say 236 one- and two-bedroom homes, ranging from 814 to 1,120 square feet, are on pace to deliver in late 2025.]

The existing building was built in 1983 and counts 236 apartments, according to Fulton County property records. It sold in November for $55 million to an LLC named for the 2460 Peachtree Road address.
Crescent Heights bills itself as “the nation's leading urban real estate firm,” with a specialty in operating and developing “architecturally distinctive mixed-use high-rises in major cities.”
Elsewhere in Atlanta, the company’s portfolio includes the 46-story Atlantic Midtown tower at Atlantic Station, currently the tallest residential high-rise in Midtown.
