In the works for four years, an apartment complex at the junction of three intown communities has officially opened as the first rentals that can claim the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail as their front door.
The 200-unit Ormewood Park complex, 915 Glenwood, replaces industrial buildings and officially opened in January, next to both the Glenwood Park mixed-use district and Grant Park.
Thousands of apartments and condos butt up to the BeltLine’s popular Eastside Trail, and another Southside Trail complex (1099 Boulevard SE) is tucked near it, but 915 Glenwood is the area’s first to be orientated toward BeltLine users, bending its western façade to mirror the trail.

Rents at the moment for 20 different floorplans begin at $1,682 for one-bedroom flats with 785 square feet.
For context, that would save cash versus another new property, Modera Reynoldstown on Memorial Drive, where studios begin at $1,785, albeit in a more centralized location with finer finishes.
But a few blocks off the BeltLine, at Alexan East Atlanta Village, for instance, larger one-bedrooms can be had for $150 cheaper per month.

The largest three-bedroom designs at 915 Glenwood, meanwhile, span up to 1,564 square feet for $2,908 monthly.
Leasing managers, it should be noted, are offering up to six weeks of free rent right now.
As with the 450 condos at Pratt Stacks and 323 Class A apartments by Middle Street Partners that recently broke ground in Grant Park, the Glenwood Park build is evidence developers are bullish on the Southside Trail years before its likely to be paved. Have a closer look in the gallery above
