Centrally located yet off the beaten path, the Manchester residential village began springing up about five years ago in a former industrial area that was marketed as the junction of Morningside, Midtown, and Buckhead.

A standalone house that recently came to market is being called one of the premier plans across that full 104-home neighborhood.

The home’s architect, Lew Oliver, and builder, Hedgewood Homes, both count sections of Serenbe in their portfolios, and the European-style Manchester community can feel like that OTP agrarian utopia—only without the commercial villages, but with access to the coveted Morningside school district.

Positioned next to Manchester’s communal pool, with a balcony overlooking the water, the four-bedroom, three-and-1/2-bathroom property is described by listing agent David Tufts of Ansley Real Estate as “incredible” and “a beauty.”

The property listed at $1,125,000 with Ansley Real Estate on March 17, where it remains today. (Another consideration: the $185 monthly HOA fees.)

It’s not quite the priciest for-sale home in Manchester at the moment, as two others, including one under contract, have listed for more.  

Sales records indicate it last traded for $766,000 in December 2018.
